Oscar Deen Fraser M Series Sunglasses: Treacle
£155.00
Founded by two friends Oscar Phillips and Sheriff-Deen, Oscar Deen was born out of a desire to make unique eyewear with true heritage. Scouring warehouses, street markets and antique stores these two have been on a mission to source less celebrated shapes and finishes from yesteryear to reimagine them for modern day wear.
- Found: Paris, Vanves they hit the flea markets of Paris. Or marchés aux puces as the locals call 'em. Missions from Porte De Clignancourt to Montreuil, but Vanves was where the magic was.
- Inspiration: 1940's made in France. A classic shape called Crown Panto, misread by one of us as Pinto. The name stuck.
- Now: A slightly raised keyhole bridge and a lower frame that mirrors the angled brow.
All Oscar Deen frames are made from Mazzucchelli acetate. They're Italian and have been top of the game since 1849. While our lenses are made from organic plastic. A combination of light-weight and optical clarity
